Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately, ensuring correct dosages and patient safety, while adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
- Provide expert medication counseling to patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions, fostering patient understanding.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications, guaranteeing adequate stock levels.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, collaborating with prescribers to resolve any discrepancies or concerns.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Hold a valid license to practice pharmacy in the UAE (MOH)
Prior experience of 1+ year as a licensed pharmacist within a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug interactions, and therapeutic uses.
