Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide clear instructions to patients regarding dosage, usage, and potential side effects.
- Offer professional advice on over-the-counter medications, health products, and general wellness to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards governing pharmacy practice.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring the availability of essential medications and timely reordering.
- Educate patients on chronic disease management, preventive healthcare, and medication adherence.
- Supervise and guide pharmacy assistants and technicians in daily operations.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training initiatives.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail or community pharmacy setting.
- Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Egypt.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and dispensing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and related technology.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
