Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques, ensuring minimal discomfort and maximum safety.
- Prepare and maintain equipment for blood draws, including needles, tubes, and antiseptics, to ensure a sterile environment.
- Label and track specimens accurately to prevent mix-ups, ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, alleviate fears, and obtain informed consent for blood collection.
Desired Candidate Profile
Take blood samples from patients and properly label them with their information lab test orders from doctors to do the tests correctly at any medical facility.
