Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
High-End Retouching: Perform detailed retouching on food images, including blemish removal, color enhancement, and "food styling" via software (e.g., making colors pop, adjusting textures).
Background & Composition: Execute clean background removals, extensions, and object removals to ensure the focus remains on the subject.
Event Batch Processing: Efficiently manage and edit large volumes of event photos, ensuring consistent lighting and mood across the entire gallery.
Color Correction: Ensure accurate color representation for various food types and restaurant interiors across different devices and screens.
Export Management: Optimize images for different platforms (web, app, social media, and print) while maintaining high quality at low file sizes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: 1 2 years of professional editing/retouching experience.
Photoshop Expertise: Mastery of layers, masks, pen tool, frequency separation, and non-destructive editing workflows.
Efficiency: Ability to work under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality (especially for time-sensitive event coverage).
Detail-Oriented: An eagle eye for "distractions" in a photo like a stray crumb on a plate or a blurry person in the background of an event shot.
Portfolio: Must demonstrate "Before & After" examples, specifically focusing on food or product retouching.
