Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain high-performance and scalable web applications (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, MySQL, SQL Server, Bash and PowerShell).
Participate in architectural choices and technical decisions, propose Proofs of Concept and integrate new technologies.
Collaborating closely with product, QA and development teams to ensure the quality and delivery of solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools and practices.
Diagnose and resolve complex problems and provide technical support for existing applications.
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and promote agility within the team.
Desired Candidate Profile
Engineering degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with a similar role in complex environments.
- Advanced proficiency in PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, MySQL, SQL Server, Bash and PowerShell.
- Experience with Laravel and Eloquent ORM frameworks, Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and IDEs such as PHPStorm, VS Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core is a differentiating asset.
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, rigor and attention to detail.
- Good written and oral communication skills, fluency in French and English.
