Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated educator to join our outstanding, well-resourced PE department. You will be working alongside a team of highly motivated professionals who are committed to student progress, holistic development, and inspiring students to remain physically active.

The PE team plays an active role in extra-curricular sports and successfully runs teams across a wide range of disciplines. Candidates are expected to contribute fully to both curriculum and extra-curricular PE and sport.

Our department also offers an extensive swimming programme, to which all members contribute. Experience in teaching swimming would be advantageous.

All PE teachers may be required to teach IGCSE PE and IB Sports, Exercise, and Health Science, and will be supported in developing the necessary skills to do so effectively. While PE teachers are designated as either Primary or Secondary , members of the department may be required to contribute across both schools.

  • Family or Spousal VISA
  • A B.Ed. or a degree in a related subject, plus a PGCE/PGDE or equivalent, with exceptional subject knowledge.
  • A track record of outstanding teaching and student outcomes.
  • A belief that all students have the potential for top performance, and the passion and drive to help them achieve it.
  • The ability to contribute to the wider curriculum and enrichment programmes of the school.
  • Experience teaching GCSE P.E (advantageous although not essential)
