Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging PE classes that focus on physical development, basic sports skills, and overall wellness.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate physical activities, games, and fitness routines.
  • Organize and manage school-wide sports events, inter-house competitions, and inter-school tournaments.
  • Teach and reinforce core values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and respect.
  • Monitor and assess students participation, performance, and physical progress.
  • Ensure student safety during all physical activities and maintain sports equipment and inventory.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical activity into cross-curricular programs and health education.
  • Maintain records of attendance, fitness benchmarks, and student progress.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Knowledge of multiple sports and fitness training appropriate for school-aged children.
  • Strong leadership and classroom management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to student health, safety, and overall development.
  • Ability to motivate students and foster a love for physical activity.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Physical Education or a related field (B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed. mandatory).
  • B.Ed. is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 3 years of PE teaching experience in a CBSE school setup.

Visa Status:

  • Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.
