School Description:

An esteemed international school in Cairo, Egypt, is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Physics & General Science Teacher to join its Science Department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Physics lessons, including GCSE and A-Level content, in line with the British Curriculum.

  • Teach foundational General Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) at the Key Stage 3 level.

  • Plan and conduct stimulating practical experiments and demonstrations, ensuring a strong focus on laboratory safety.

  • Assess, record, and track student attainment and progress, providing timely and effective feedback.

  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources.

  • Participate actively in the school's extracurricular programme, potentially leading a science club or related activity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Physics or a closely related Science field.

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).

  • Essential: Proven experience teaching Physics and General Science within the British Curriculum.

  • Strong knowledge of practical laboratory techniques and safety protocols.

  • Excellent communication and ability to make complex scientific concepts accessible to students.

  • Enthusiasm for promoting science literacy and curiosity.

Desired Candidate Profile
