Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Physics Teacher to join a well-established international school in Doha for the 2026 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Physics lessons to secondary students and contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics to secondary students in accordance with the school curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Support student progress through effective feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and stimulating educational experience.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field; teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proven teaching experience at secondary level, ideally within an international or British curriculum setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics and passion for teaching.
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods for a diverse student body.
