Roles & Responsibilities

Read and interpret a drilling plan
Position the drilling machine following the instructions in a layout diagram
Set up the various controls of the drilling machine for its commissioning (rotation speed)
Locate the causes of malfunction or breakdown
Ensure the maintenance of the drilling tool.
Ensure proper maintenance of your machine.
Apply the safety rules related to the workstation.
Distinguish between information to be communicated to one's hierarchical superior and that which is specific to one's intervention.
Use the technical vocabulary used in your workstation necessary for communication with higher, peripheral or subordinate positions.
Use information necessary for developing interactive relationships with other professionals working in the same team.
Suggest how to carry out certain tasks.
Develop maximum efforts to improve the quality of one's work.
Speed of execution of work, respect of deadlines and reacting well to incidents.
Use the resources placed under your responsibility in accordance with the rules of use in force.
Contribute to improving working conditions and atmosphere.
Have general knowledge of soil characteristics.
Master the control and adjustment systems of your machine to ensure quality and quantity production.
Knowledge and application, in a work situation, of basic hygiene and safety rules related to work and materials.
Tolerate varied climatic conditions.
Have real physical resistance.
Good spatial representation.

Mechanical or electromechanical technician + 2-3 years of experience.
CAP in mechanics or drilling assistant + 4-5 years of experience on the job in operating drilling equipment.
