Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret piping drawings, isometrics, and fabrication sketches.
Measure, cut, grind, and prepare pipes using fabrication tools and equipment.
Fit pipe components such as elbows, flanges, reducers, tees, and supports.
Perform tack welding or coordinate with welders for final welding.
Fabricate spools according to project specifications and tolerances.
Ensure proper alignment, beveling, and preparation of joints.
Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of fabrication work.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and welders to meet project timelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pipe Fabricator in construction, MEP, or oil & gas.
Ability to read and understand isometric drawings and P&IDs.
Knowledge of fabrication tools, cutting machines, grinders, and measuring equipment.
Strong understanding of pipe materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, GI, and copper.
Good physical fitness and ability to work in workshop or site environments.
Strong adherence to safety standards and work discipline.
