Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble piping spools (cutting, welding, and joining pipes and fittings).
Ensure accurate dimensions and proper welding for structural integrity.
Read and interpret piping drawings (isometric, P&ID, GA) to guide spool fabrication and installation.
Install pre-fabricated spools, ensuring correct placement, alignment, and secure connection to other pipes/equipment.
Maintain and repair existing systems, diagnose issues, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
Desired Candidate Profile
High School Diploma or Equivalent: Basic education is usually required as a minimum, including a background in mathematics, physics, and mechanical drawing.
A formal pipefitting program at a technical school or trade college is highly beneficial.
