Piping Design Engineer

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering

Work under the guidance of Lead Engineer / Engineer

• Preparation of Fabrication drawings through AutoCAD or AutoSpool or SpoolGen
• Check the drawings and design documents for correctness before submitting them to Lead Engineer/Engineer.
• Bring to the notice to Lead Engineer/Engineer promptly, any problem faced, or discrepancies found during work
• Generate Drawing Templates based on Design Drawings.
• Site survey, Manual drafting.
• Preparation of As-Built drawings
• Preparation and checking of drawing MTO
• Preparation of layouts & Nesting sheet.
• Preparation of AutoCAD 3D model.
• Preparing and tracking of documents.
• Carry out necessary data uploading for SAP, eALPS.
• Carry out other activities as required/asked by seniors from time to time.
• Preparation of Hydrotest packs.
• Comply with HSE rules of company.
• Making manual sketches/ drawings with paper and pencil
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail and communication skills

Proficiency:

• Minimum 2 yr working experience in AutoSpool or Spoolgen or Any other 3D model (Related to Piping).
• Knowledge on Navis Work software
• Should be experienced with Piping detailing and drafting
• Experienced with Isometric drawings by referring to General arrangement drawings as per requirement
• Experienced with Template and Report customization as per requirement
• Experienced with Oil & Gas related projects (offshore or Onshore)
