A Piping Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the installation of piping systems used in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, power plants, and water treatment. The role involves ensuring piping designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop piping systems and layouts based on project requirements and industry standards.
Prepare and review piping isometrics, drawings, and specifications.
Conduct stress analysis and ensure compliance with codes such as ASME, ANSI, and API.
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated design.
Review material requisitions, vendor documents, and ensure quality control.
Support procurement, fabrication, and installation activities with technical input.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor piping installation and resolve issues.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience in piping design and engineering, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API 570, etc.).
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, PDMS, SmartPlant).
Experience with piping stress analysis tools (CAESAR II or similar) is an advantage.
