Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections for piping installation, fabrication, and testing activities.
Review and verify Hydrotest Packages, ensuring completeness and compliance with project requirements.
Conduct line walks inspections prior to hydrotesting and system handover.
Prepare and close punch lists in coordination with construction and client representatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, and ASME Section IX.
Coordinate with NDT teams and review inspection reports.
Witness and verify hydrotesting activities.
Ensure all documentation, test reports, and QA/QC records are properly maintained and submitted.
Liaise with client inspectors and third-party agencies for approvals and inspections.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.
Certification in CSWIP 3.1 (Welding Inspector) is mandatory.
NDT Level II certification is required.
Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.1, B31.3, Section IX).
Hands-on experience in:
Hydrotest Package Review
Line Walks
Punch Listing & Close-out
Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
