Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all piping construction and installation activities on-site.

Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, standards, and codes (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).

Coordinate with project engineers, QC/QA teams, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.

Monitor piping fabrication, welding, alignment, supports, and inspection activities.

Ensure adherence to HSE procedures, including safe work practices and risk assessments.

Review and approve piping-related work packages, plans, and schedules.

Conduct site inspections, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.

Maintain proper documentation of piping activities, inspections, and reports.

Mentor and guide piping supervisors, foremen, and craftsmen to maintain high productivity and quality.

Support commissioning and pre-commissioning activities related to piping systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Piping, or relevant engineering discipline.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in piping construction, installation, and supervision in industrial or oil & gas projects.

Strong knowledge of piping codes, standards, fabrication, welding, and inspection techniques.

Proven experience managing teams, coordinating multi-disciplinary activities, and meeting project schedules.
