Piping Supervisor/Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Project Supervision: Direct daily activities, allocate tasks, manage schedules, and monitor progress for piping installation, fabrication, and testing.
• Quality Control: Inspect work, verify compliance with specifications (drawings, isometrics, codes), and ensure quality standards for materials, welds, and alignments.
• Safety (HSE): Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, conduct safety walks, toolbox talks, and manage non-conformities.
• Coordination: Liaise with other disciplines (civil, electrical, HVAC) and management, managing subcontractors and resolving site issues.
• Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly reports, progress updates, material take-offs (MTOs), and assist with as-built drawings and handover documentation.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical advice, train teams on proper techniques, and ensure effective resource (manpower, tools, materials) utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision & Leadership: Lead pipefitters/welders, assign tasks, ensure competence, and train new staff.
• Quality Control: Inspect work, resolve site quality issues, and ensure compliance with specs/ITPs (Inspection Test Plans).
• Project Coordination: Read blueprints, sequence installation, manage materials, coordinate with other trades, and report progress.
• Technical Tasks: Oversee fabrication, installation, testing (hydro testing), and prepare systems for acceptance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and manage safety documentation.
