Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Pipefitting, or related field preferred.
Certification or vocational training in pipefitting/fabrication is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day activities of pipe fitters, fabricators, welders, and helpers.
Review and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings, and specifications to guide the team.
Plan and schedule piping work to meet project deadlines.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor quality control and inspect piping systems for defects or deviations.
Coordinate with other supervisors, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety protocols.
Report progress, challenges, and site issues to higher management regularly.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials related to piping work.
Resolve on-site technical issues and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
