Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Know how to do the original Italian pizza and how to prepare.
- Oversee dough preparation, stretching, and proofing to ensure optimal texture and flavor.
- Select, portion, and arrange toppings with precision and creativity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to achieve consistent quality and doneness.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Manage inventory of pizza ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on pizza-making techniques and best practices.
- Experiment with new recipes and seasonal ingredients to enhance the menu.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 4 years experience as a pizza chef or in a similar culinary role.
- Know how to do the original Italian pizza and how to prepare.
- Demonstrated expertise in dough preparation, stretching, and baking.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients.
- Creativity in developing new pizza recipes and menu items.
