Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Planner to join our team in Tabuk, KSA, supporting the successful delivery of regional, large-scale infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining fully integrated master project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives, and providing critical insights to support senior leadership decision-making.
This role requires a deep expertise in planning methodologies, advanced scheduling tools (Primavera P6), and seamless coordination across multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Scheduling: Lead the development, logic-sequencing, and maintenance of fully integrated Master Project Schedules (MPS) for massive infrastructure workstreams using Primavera P6, ensuring logic, constraints, and milestones are technically sound.

Critical Path & Delay Analysis: Perform advanced critical path method (CPM) analysis and forensic delay analysis to proactively identify potential bottlenecks, preparing actionable recovery strategies and mitigation plans.

Project Controls Integration: Collaborate closely with Cost Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure schedules are accurately resource-loaded and aligned with budgetary milestones and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.

Stakeholder Coordination: Interface regularly with clients, PMO leads, engineering teams, and subcontractors to facilitate collaborative planning workshops and secure buy-in on baseline milestones.

Risk Management: Support quantitative schedule risk analysis (QSRA) to identify project completion threats and evaluate performance against established baselines.

Executive Reporting: Prepare high-level dashboards, variance analyses, and comprehensive monthly progress reports detailing productivity trends, schedule status, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and client leadership.
What Required Skills You'll Bring

Education: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling, with a heavy emphasis on large-scale infrastructure, utility networks, or earthworks programs.

Software Proficiency: Expert-level, hands-on mastery of Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Regional Context: Direct experience working on mega or giga-scale infrastructure projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the wider GCC region.

Methodologies: Deep comprehension of construction sequencing, resource leveling, and critical path analysis.

Communication: Exceptional written and oral English communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex scheduling data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring

Professional credentials such as PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are highly preferred.

Experience utilizing advanced analysis tools like Acumen Fuse or Tilos (linear scheduling software) is an advantage.
