Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Assist the preparation and administration of the bank's annual budget, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to gather budgetary needs and align them with strategic objectives.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management that summarize findings and insights.
- Monitor compliance with budgetary guidelines and procedures across all business units.
- Support the development and implementation of financial planning policies and processes.
- Stay informed about market trends and economic factors impacting the banking industry for better financial planning.
- Assist in the preparation of strategic initiatives and resource allocation documents.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proven experience in preparing and managing budgets with a strong analytical focus.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reports.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams.
- Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
