Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning and Supervising Production Operations:

Developing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans according to established goals and deadlines.
Supervising all stages of the printing process to ensure quality and efficiency.
Analyzing production efficiency and working to improve processes, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
Distributing tasks among all machines in the printing press (printing, cutting, packaging, etc.).

Monitoring all details of the printing stages on different machines, such as printing, cutting, protective coating, perforation, etc.
Collaborating with maintenance providers to ensure machine readiness, minimize unexpected downtime, and improve workflow.
Ensuring compliance with quality and occupational safety standards within the work environment.

Materials and Raw Materials Management:

Providing the Senior Accountant with information and collaborating with them to determine the approximate cost of production.

Ensuring the availability of raw materials and components necessary for the printing process in coordination with the Purchasing Manager and preparing purchase orders and requisitions.
Managing and monitoring essential printing raw materials and coordinating with the Purchasing Manager to ensure business continuity. Resolve technical issues that may arise during the printing process and propose and implement suggested modifications for improved production processes.

Enhance production and implement performance improvement techniques such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Administrative Tasks:

Monitor and manage employee performance on production lines and provide guidance as needed.
Follow up with the production supervisor and ensure the implementation of production plans.

Provide technical and professional guidance to the team and motivate them to achieve optimal performance in coordination with the Human Resources department.
Collaborate and coordinate with the Human Resources department to evaluate team performance and identify training needs.
Foster a supportive, mentoring, and training environment for all employees to create a positive work culture and a supportive work environment for development through a rewards and recognition system for those who provide support and guidance, in coordination with Human Resources.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all products adhere to the specified quality standards in coordination with the Quality Assurance Manager and according to operating instructions and orders. Developing quality control procedures and conducting periodic product inspections.

Reporting:

Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and submitting them to senior management.

Preparing performance indicator reports, reviewing the indicators periodically, and adjusting them as needed in coordination with Human Resources.

Analyzing production data and providing recommendations to management for performance improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in printing (an advantage)

Previous experience in managing work teams and production processes

Skills:

Advanced knowledge of manufacturing technologies and methods

Familiarity with production management systems and related software

Knowledge of quality control fundamentals and continuous improvement techniques in production

Personal Attributes:

Advanced planning, organizational, and time management skills

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly and efficiently
