Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To support financial and business planning, cost monitoring, KPI reporting, and strategic initiative tracking across business units. The Planning & Budgeting specialist plays a key role in enabling data-driven decisions by providing accurate financial insights, assisting in performance management processes, and supporting digital and strategic planning programs. The role also supports budget planning exercises and facilitates coordination across CLIENT assets and IDS teams.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree/ Higher Diploma in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in cost analysis, budgeting, KPI tracking, or reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, JIRA) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to engage cross-functionally.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flows, providing critical insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis, investigating and explaining deviations between budgeted and actual financial performance, highlighting key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating with various departments to gather, analyze, and consolidate budget submissions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including budget versus actual analyses, variance explanations, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business operations, and provide financial guidance to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor and control spending, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field to establish a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Holds a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and budgeting, showcasing practical application of skills.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques, using tools such as Excel and other relevant software.
  • Exhibits strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Has experience with budgeting software and ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP, streamlining financial processes.
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the integrity of financial data and reports.
