Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planning Controller to manage project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting activities. The candidate will support project execution by monitoring timelines, analyzing project performance, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, work plans, and progress tracking reports.

  • Monitor project timelines and identify delays or risks affecting project completion.

  • Coordinate with project teams, procurement, engineering, and site teams for planning updates.

  • Track project progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

  • Analyze project performance and provide recommendations for schedule recovery.

  • Maintain baseline schedules and update project progress in planning software.

  • Support resource planning and allocation activities.

  • Prepare dashboards, KPI reports, and project performance presentations.

  • Coordinate with clients and consultants regarding project schedules and milestones.

  • Ensure compliance with project planning procedures and reporting standards.

  • Assist in preparing project forecasts and look-ahead schedules.

  • Support project close-out documentation and final reporting activities

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in planning and project control activities.

  • Experience in construction, MEP, manufacturing, or industrial projects preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling and planning methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with project dashboards and KPI reporting.

  • Knowledge of cost control and resource planning concepts.

  • Experience with ERP systems and project management software.

  • Strong presentation and documentation skills.
