Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using advanced scheduling software to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to gather project requirements and align schedules with project milestones and deliverables.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve planning processes and methodologies.
- Monitor and analyze productivity metrics to improve efficiency and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Facilitate meetings with project teams to discuss schedule adherence, resource allocation, and any necessary adjustments.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency planning to mitigate potential delays and resource shortages.
- Regularly update and communicate project status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Perform critical path analysis to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions that optimize project timelines.
- Utilize earned value management techniques to measure project performance and forecast future project needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, ensuring a solid technical foundation.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in planning and scheduling within the construction or engineering industry.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, demonstrating technical competence in project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively relay complex information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages can be beneficial, especially in multinational projects.
- Strong organizational skills paired with a high level of adaptability to changing project requirements and environments.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to foresee project challenges and propose proactive solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
