Planning Engineer Estithmar Holding

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer specializing in finishing and fit-out works for high-rise towers or luxury hotels. The candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting all finishing activities for a prestigious 7-star hotel project in Baghdad, Iraq. The role requires strong experience within the GCC region and a willingness to be deployed to Iraq.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules focusing on finishing and fitout works for mega-scale construction projects.

• Coordinate with project management, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to collect accurate progress data and forecast project milestones.

• Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting potential risks, delays, and mitigation strategies related to finishing and fitout activities.

• Monitor critical paths, resource allocations, and workflow sequences to optimize productivity and ensure alignment with project timelines.

• Review and analyze project documentation including contracts, drawings, and specifications to develop realistic and achievable work plans.

• Assist in planning resource deployment including manpower, materials, and equipment specific to finishing and architectural finishing tasks.

• Collaborate with QAQC, procurement, and site teams to integrate quality and delivery requirements into the project schedule.

• Participate in project meetings to provide technical planning support and update stakeholders on schedule performance.

• Implement and enforce planning standards, best practices, and software tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) for effective schedule management.
