Roles & Responsibilities

EPC Project Planner is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure the timely execution of projects. Planner will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to track project progress, identify risks, and support the successful completion of EPC projects within budget and time constraints.

Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:

EPC Project Planner specializing in Substations, Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL) and Underground Cables (UGC) with 3 to 5 years of experience:

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project, ensuring alignment with EPC contract requirements.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, histograms, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct delay analysis and extension of time (EOT) claims, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site teams, procurement, engineering, and clients to align schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical) or equivalent.

  • 3-5 years of experience in planning EPC projects, particularly in Substations, OHTL & UGC.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC contract structures (FIDIC, Lump Sum, BOQ Contracts, etc.).
  • Understanding of transmission & distribution project execution workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • EPC project Experience is Must
  • Certification in Project management PMP, PMI-SP, Risk Management) is preferable
