Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather project data and update schedules accordingly.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, proposing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Collaborate with cost control and project management teams to ensure resource allocation aligns with project plans.
- Facilitate project meetings to review schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support the preparation of tender schedules and planning documents for new project bids.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices in all planning activities.
- Utilize project management software and tools to optimize planning processes and enhance project visibility.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Planning Engineer in engineering, construction, or industrial projects.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia
- Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling techniques.
- Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with risk management and resource allocation methodologies.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
