Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules in line with contract requirements using Primavera P6
- Track and report progress of civil and construction works, ensuring alignment with the approved baseline schedule.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, identifying delays, risks, and corrective actions.
- Review and evaluate contractors extension of time (EOT) claims and provide recommendations.
- Prepare Extension of time documents with impact as planned analyses, window analyses etc.
- Support the preparation of contract variations, recovery plans, and revised schedules.
- Analyze project performance, provide forecasts, and highlight potential delays.
- Ensure integration of planning activities with post-contract supervision deliverables.
- Collaborate with the Resident Engineer, Quantity Surveyors, and Inspectors to ensure compliance with project milestones.
- Attend site and client meetings to present planning updates and findings.
- Conduct site inspections and coordination with supervision teams to validate progress.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are seeking an experienced strong>Planner/strong> to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong>5 10 years of planning experience in consultancy firms/strong>, with a focus on residential projects. Must have experience aligning project timelines with client requirements and multi-disciplinary teams. The Planner will be responsible for preparing and monitoring project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- strong>5 10 years of planning experience/strong> in consultancy firms.
- Must have experience aligning project timelines with client requirements and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in projects in Middle east is preferred
- Track record of planning for residential and mixed-use development projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), FIDIC contracts, and authority regulations.
- Experience in EOT analysis, delay claims, and recovery planning.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
- UPDA/MMUP Engineer Registration is an advantage.
