Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are an established Engineering and Contracting company engaged in executing EPC projects including HV Substations turnkey projects, Oil & Gas, Water Transmission projects etc. We are looking for qualified "Planning Engineer", the job description is given as under:-


· Develop project plans and schedules that are realistic and achievable.

· Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation, critical path analysis, and progress tracking.

· Communicate project status updates to team members and stakeholders and identify and address potential delays or roadblocks.

· Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.

· Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while meeting quality standards.

· Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation plans.

· Track project expenses and ensure that project budgets are adhered to.

· Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to support project success.

· Identify and analyze potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

· Monitor project progress and identify any delays or deviations from the plan.

· Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

· Provide regular status reports to all stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress.

· Ensure that all project documentation is up to date and accurate.

· Maintain a strong understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements.

· Recommend process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.

· Provide support and guidance to team members as needed.


Desired Candidate Profile


· Bachelor's degree in engineering thro’ recognized University.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.

· Experience in the EPC industries preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.

· Fluency in English is required;

· Must be willing to travel to project sites as needed.
