Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage strong>Production Planning and Material Planning/strong> teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Develop, implement, and maintain the strong>Master Production Schedule (MPS)/strong> in alignment with sales forecasts, capacity, and business priorities.
Ensure effective alignment between strong>production plans, material requirements, and inventory targets/strong> to support operational and financial goals.
Monitor, analyze, and report key planning KPIs including strong>On-Time In-Full (OTIF), forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and plan adherence/strong>.
Coordinate closely with strong>Procurement, Production, Sales, Engineering, and Logistics/strong> to ensure supply demand balance and timely issue resolution.
Identify potential risks related to capacity constraints, material shortages, or delivery delays and develop mitigation plans.
Drive strong>continuous improvement initiatives/strong> to enhance planning processes, data accuracy, and system efficiency.
Ensure optimal utilization and continuous enhancement of strong>ERP and MRP systems/strong> to support planning activities.
Prepare and present planning reports, performance analysis, and recommendations to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in production and material planning within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in the electrical manufacturing industry is mandatory.
Strong working knowledge of MPS, MRP, and ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage complex planning challenges.
