Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Tender Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and preparation of tender schedule submissions for construction projects under studies as part of technical proposal. This role involves coordinating with various departments, analysing tender documents, and ensuring timely and accurate submission of schedules
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the tender team, delegating tasks and ensuring complying with deadlines.
Interact with clients at a technical level when necessary.
Comply with the level of details required from the client whether narrative report, resources, manpower histograms ETC ..
Collaborate with internal departments to gather information for tender preparation.
Add and review the strategy of the schedule from engineering, procurement and construction methodology
Prepare and review tender schedule including technical consideration.
Ensure adherence to tender deadlines and submission requirements.
Negotiate with clients to optimize contract terms and conditions regarding time schedule.
Track tender progress and provide regular updates to management.
Identify and mitigate potential risks.
Maintain a database of tender schedules requirements.
Foster a positive work environment for the tender team.
Champion the implementation of project management practices that align with the company s strategic goals.
Conduct team appraisals and set KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
