Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Manager to join our team! Parsons is to be engaged as the Engineer and the span>construction supervision consultant/b> responsible for administering the contract and overseeing delivery in compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements./span>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
-
Provide leadership for planning and scheduling, progress measurement, risk management, change management and reporting for the entire project
-
Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to planning & risk staff, interface with clients, and attend regular meetings
-
Develop, implement, and maintain project controls processes, procedures, systems, and tools and monitor compliance
-
Provide guidance and direction for the resolution of planning and issues as they arise
-
Set-up Primavera Project Management System P6 for program management across the planning team with all stakeholders
-
Prepare the Integrated master program for the project
-
Establish/deliver formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client and project
-
Arrange project controls workshops/meetings to discuss and assist contractors/consultants to close their project control issues
-
Review & challenge any claims and EOT requests
-
Review consultants & contractors programs received and analyze them in line with the contractual requirements
-
Able to assess and analyze the impact(s) of design and construction changes and schedule slippages.

Coordinates execution of effective Project Risk Management across the project.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
-
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management from a recognized institution.

Minimum 15 years post-graduate experience in similar roles on infrastructure projects.

Previous experience in Planning & Scheduling, Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis, and Extension of Time Claims
-
Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and regulations
