Roles & Responsibilities

Parsons are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, and progress control for a major airfield infrastructure program. This role ensures that all project timelines, construction sequences, resource plans, and interfaces are coordinated and aligned with delivery goals.

The ideal candidate will bring 8 years of experience in project planning within large-scale civil or aviation projects.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Develop and maintain the Master Schedule reflecting design, procurement, construction, T&C, and handover activities.
  • Establish planning procedures aligned with project controls and reporting frameworks.
  • Identify critical paths, bottlenecks, and recovery strategies.
  • Track weekly/monthly progress, analyze variances, and prepare schedule forecasts.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings with contractors to ensure schedule alignment.
  • Update KPIs, dashboards, and executive planning reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and logistics teams for integrated planning.
  • Align work phases across airside, landside, utilities, and building works.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments and scenario planning.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies for delays and interface clashes.

Desired Candidate Profile

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years in project planning on large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects.
  • Strong experience with Primavera P6 in complex multi-phase environments.
  • Excellent proficiency in P6, MS Project, and planning methodology.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of EVM, reporting frameworks, and baseline management.
  • Experience in airfield/airport programs with heavy interfaces.
  • Familiarity with TILOS, Power BI, and integrated planning platforms.
  • PMP or PSP certification is an advantage.
