Planning Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the project management procedures of an organization s operations, ensuring that the team meets budget goals and deadline deliverables, with a track record of success in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Master Production Schedules (MPSs) and Material Requirement Plans (MRPs):
Collaborate in the development of MPSs and MRPs by collecting necessary information.
Monitor the efficiency of these plans and document annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly schedules.
Prioritize job orders for production optimization based on the MPS system.
Receive and analyze quarterly and monthly demand plans.
Utilize demand data as input for creating MPSs and MRPs.
Set up production schedules and order materials to maintain an efficient inventory level.
Ensure timely availability of materials for production.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and finance.
Consult with stakeholders to align planning decisions with business needs.

Qualifications:

A relevant bachelor s or master s degree (e.g., Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management).
Consider certifications such as APICS, CPIM, PMP, or other relevant industry certifications.
3-4 years of experience in planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
Proficiency in Oracle ERP, Excel, and other planning tools.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
