Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily planning activities to ensure optimal production schedules and resource allocation.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor production plans in alignment with sales forecasts and inventory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products.
  • Analyze production data and workflow processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain adequate stock of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on planning performance, production output, and inventory status to management.
  • Address and resolve planning-related issues, bottlenecks, or delays to minimize production downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations throughout the planning process.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior planning staff to enhance team performance and professional development.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align planning objectives with overall business goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably within the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of planning methodologies, production processes, and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in ERP software, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of planning professionals.
