Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Seeking a Plant & Machinery Inspector with 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas (GCC preferred). Responsible for safety audits of heavy vehicles and oilfield equipment to ensure full regulatory compliance and operational safety
Role & responsibilities
- Safety Inspections: Perform comprehensive safety audits on heavy vehicles (cranes, forklifts, trucks) and oilfield equipment to ensure 100% operational readiness.
- Asset Compliance: Verify that drilling rigs, pumps, and pressure vessels meet all international oil and gas regulatory standards and maintenance protocols.
- Defect Management: Identify equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs and recommend immediate repairs or replacements to prevent operational downtime.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct hazard assessments to identify electrical, flammable, or ergonomic risks, ensuring a high-standard, accident-free work environment.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain precise inspection records and generate detailed analytical reports to track asset health and compliance history.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 5+ years in multi-discipline Oil & Gas projects.
- Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
- Regional Knowledge: Strong familiarity with GCC safety regulations and environmental conditions.
- Technical Savvy: Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and maintenance manuals.
