About the Role


We re hiring a hands-on Plant Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and operations at our flour mill. You ll own equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, safety/compliance, and continuous improvement while developing a high-performing team.


Key Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment and site utilities/facilities.

Design, implement, and audit preventive maintenance plans (PM/CBM/RCM).

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues across production lines.

Drive process improvements, workflow optimization, and OEE gains.

Ensure food-safety compliance (GMP, HACCP, sanitation, traceability) and EHS.

Collaborate with Operations and QA to maximize uptime and product quality.

Lead cost control: budgeting, Corey accounting, and expense management.

Own material planning and supply scheduling to meet production targets.

Build, coach, and develop maintenance/operations staff; manage contractors.

Track KPIs (OEE, MTBF/MTTR, downtime, yield, cost/ton) and report regularly.


Requirements

Bachelor s in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

5+ years in food production, packaging, or beverage industries (mill/grain preferred).

Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Proficiency with CMMS, PLCs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.

Familiarity with utilities (compressed air, steam, dust collection) is a plus.
