Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee operations at our Jubail facility. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations across liquid storage, bulk and solid chemical handling, blending, drumming, tanker loading/unloading, quality control, and laboratory functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, operational leadership, and a safety-first mindset to support business growth and operational excellence.
Manage end-to-end plant operations including liquid and solid chemical handling, storage, blending, drumming, dispatch, quality, and laboratory activities.
Plan and supervise the movement of chemicals, optimizing tank capacity, warehouse utilization, and logistics schedules.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, Saudi regulations, and environmental requirements.
Drive operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and maintain high equipment reliability.
Oversee inventory control, batch traceability, and documentation to maintain product integrity.
Lead laboratory and quality processes to ensure materials meet required specifications before release.
Coordinate closely with supply chain, sales, and technical teams to support seamless operations.
Provide strong leadership to plant personnel, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Monitor plant KPIs including safety, productivity, cost control, and asset utilization, and implement improvement initiatives.
Support expansion projects, infrastructure upgrades, and new product handling capabilities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
10–15+ years of experience in chemical plants, storage terminals, blending facilities, petrochemical, or industrial operations.
Minimum 5 years in a plant leadership role managing complex operations.
Strong knowledge of hazardous chemical handling, process safety, and regulatory compliance.
Prior GCC / Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.
