Plant Shift Manager

Role Summary:

To manage daily furniture production operations, optimize output, ensure product quality, and drive on-time delivery. The role involves coordinating resources, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with design and project teams for execution.

Role & responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Supervise workshop operations including cutting, assembling, finishing, and packaging.
• Ensure products meet specifications, quality standards, and project deadlines.
• Coordinate with procurement for raw materials availability and delivery.
• Monitor machinery utilization and initiate preventive maintenance schedules.
• Track production metrics such as output, wastage, downtime, and cost per unit.
• Lead a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Enforce HSE standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Manage End to End deliverables for the entire shift.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
• 10 to 12 years of production experience
• Preference : Furniture and interior Fitout Industry
