Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Plastic Injection Project Manager , you will join an industrial team specializing in the manufacture of injected plastic parts. You will be responsible for the complete management of the production chain, from industrialization to process development, guaranteeing quality, cost, delivery and safety objectives.
You will also be involved in optimizing injection processes, resolving technical problems, coordinating with production/maintenance/quality teams, and continuously improving industrial performance.
This position is for a senior engineer with a Bac+5 degree and more than 8 years of experience in plastic injection, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Engineering degree Bac+5 in Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent.
- Over 8 years of experience in production or industrialization in the plastic injection sector.
- Significant experience in the automotive industry (quality, audits, customer requirements).
- Solid practical experience in injection molding processes and molding/machinery/process issues.
- Very good mastery of plastic injection processes (temperature, pressure, cycle time, cooling, demolding parameters).
- Capacity to industrialize new plastic parts: testing, development, validation.
- Skills in diagnosing and solving problems on molds, presses, peripherals and sensors.
- Good understanding of plastic materials, their behavior and constraints.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
- Experience in operational workshop management and monitoring of production indicators.
- Skills in team management , coordination of operators and technicians.
- Practice of continuous improvement tools (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
Desired Candidate Profile
Engineering degree Bac+5 in Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent.
Over 8 years of experience in production or industrialization in the plastic injection sector.
Significant experience in the automotive industry (quality, audits, customer requirements).
Solid practical experience in injection molding processes and molding/machinery/process issues.
