Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the plastic injection production section to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
- Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all injection molding machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operational.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards and GoodSeal Packaging s sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to support the introduction of new products and process enhancements.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and proactive problem-solving within the production section.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 7 years experience in plastic injection molding production or a related manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in managing production teams and leading operational improvements.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, machinery, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and sustainability practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving production demands and company objectives.
