Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define the platform QA and test automation strategy and roadmap.
- Establish automation standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Promote quality engineering and shift-left testing culture.
- Design and oversee automated testing across API and integration testing, UI and end-to-end testing, regression and performance testing.
- Ensure automation coverage across CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams.
- Ensure automated quality gates before releases.
- Define automation KPIs and quality metrics.
- Monitor test coverage, execution results, and defect trends.
- Identify improvement opportunities and optimize frameworks.
- Lead and mentor QA and automation engineers.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams.
- Promote best practices in testing and automation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience leading automation initiatives and teams
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments
- Preferred Certifications: ISTQB Advanced / Test Automation certifications
- Agile/Scrum certifications (advantage)
- Preferred Tools Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
- API & Performance Testing: Postman, RestAssured, JMeter
- CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
- Tracking & Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams
- Reporting: Power BI, Advanced Excel
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring
- Excellent collaboration with engineering and DevOps teams
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Attention to detail and quality ownership culture
- Continuous learning and improvement mindset
