Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, adjust and operate the flatbed machine for cutting, creasing, embossing, debossing, hot stamping, etc.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing orders and cutting plans.
  • Install the cutting tools (shapes, clichés, plates, dividers).
  • Adjust the pressure, speed, and alignment settings.
  • Check the quality of the finished product (cleanliness of the cuts, precision of the scoring, sharpness of the markings).
  • Mastery of a flat or automatic/manual turntable (Heidelberg, Bobst, Jagenberg or other).
  • Knowledge of cutting shapes and adjustment accessories.
  • Ability to achieve a precise and uniform cut/pressure.
  • Good understanding of paper and cardboard materials.
