Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare, adjust and operate the flatbed machine for cutting, creasing, embossing, debossing, hot stamping, etc.
- Read and interpret manufacturing orders and cutting plans.
- Install the cutting tools (shapes, clichés, plates, dividers).
- Adjust the pressure, speed, and alignment settings.
- Check the quality of the finished product (cleanliness of the cuts, precision of the scoring, sharpness of the markings).
- Mastery of a flat or automatic/manual turntable (Heidelberg, Bobst, Jagenberg or other).
- Knowledge of cutting shapes and adjustment accessories.
- Ability to achieve a precise and uniform cut/pressure.
- Good understanding of paper and cardboard materials.
