Play Therapist Peds / Pediatric Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy sessions tailored to children, including play therapy and family counseling.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care.
• Educate families on strategies to support their child's development at home.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in pediatric therapy and child psychology.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
• Licensure as a Pediatric Therapist or equivalent credential.
• 2-4 years of experience working with children in a therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and build rapport with children and their families.
• Commitment to professional growth and staying current with industry trends.
