Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a diligent Plumbing Technician to join our Facilities Management team. You will be responsible for the continuous operation and maintenance of all plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems within [Residential Towers / Commercial Offices / Luxury Hotels]. The goal is to ensure 100% system uptime and high tenant satisfaction through proactive maintenance and swift emergency response.


Key Responsibilities (FM Focus)

  • Preventive Maintenance (PPM): Execute scheduled maintenance on water pumps, booster systems, storage tanks, and drainage networks to prevent system failures.

  • Reactive Maintenance: Respond to "Help Desk" tickets and tenant complaints regarding leaks, blockages, or water pressure issues within specified SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

  • Asset Management: Inspect and maintain critical assets including calorifiers (water heaters), grease traps, and manholes.

  • Water Quality: Monitor water tank cleanliness and assist in coordination for water testing and disinfection as per Municipality standards.

  • CMMS Integration: Use mobile FM software or tablets to log work orders, update job status, and record material consumption.

  • Sustainability: Identify and report water wastage or opportunities for installing water-saving fixtures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–6 years in Facilities Management or AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) environments.

  • Technical Knowledge: * Strong understanding of PPR, PVC, and GI piping.

    • Experience with High-Pressure Pumps and Float Switches.

    • Familiarity with drainage clearing machines (electric snakes/high-pressure jetting).

  • Education: ITI or Diploma in Plumbing/Mechanical.

  • Soft Skills: Must be polite and professional when entering occupied apartments or offices. Basic English is required for reporting.
