Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' daily routines.
- Install and maintain a variety of plumbing systems, from residential to commercial setups, following local codes and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems, identifying potential problems before they escalate.
- Utilize specialized tools and technologies, such as video inspection equipment, to accurately assess plumbing conditions and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with contractors and builders to design and implement plumbing systems in new construction projects, ensuring functionality and compliance.
- Provide expert advice to clients regarding plumbing options, maintenance practices, and water conservation strategies.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, prioritizing urgent repairs to restore services and ensure safety for all occupants.
- Keep detailed records of services performed, materials used, and client interactions to maintain transparency and support future work.
- Stay updated on the latest plumbing technologies and industry standards through continuous education and professional development.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments, promoting a safe and efficient worksite.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in plumbing is highly preferred.
- Experience with specialized plumbing systems like gas lines, irrigation, or water treatment systems is a plus.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential or commercial settings is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to think critically and troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring precision in installation and repair work to prevent future complications.
- Physical stamina and strength, capable of lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces as required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, adapting to various work environments and dynamics.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is advantageous for client interactions in diverse communities.
