Key Roles & Responsibilities

Site Execution

• Supervise and execute PHE & Fire Fighting works (piping, drainage, water supply, pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, gas suppression systems, etc.) in line with approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and ELV teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth multi-disciplinary execution.
• Ensure work progress matches project schedule and escalate delays or constraints to the Project Manager.
  

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure installation complies with project specifications, NFPA/ASHRAE/BS/Local Saudi Civil Defense codes, and client standards.
• Carry out inspections and prepare quality checklists for material installation and site works.
• Verify that materials used are approved and as per the Material Submittals / Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  

Material & Resource Management

• Review and plan manpower, tools, and materials for day-to-day site activities.
• Monitor stock levels, raise material requisitions in advance, and coordinate with procurement for timely availability.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials on site.
  

Safety

• Ensure safe execution of PHE & FF works in compliance with HSE standards and site-specific safety protocols.
• Conduct toolbox talks for workmen and ensure proper use of PPEs.
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain site execution logs, inspection reports, and red-mark drawings.
• Support in preparation of As-Built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and with client/consultant for approvals.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.
  

Testing & Commissioning

• Supervise hydro testing, pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of water supply, drainage, and fire fighting systems.
• Support in integrated testing of Fire Fighting & suppression systems with ELV and BMS teams.
• Ensure system readiness for final handover.
