Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise installation of plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sanitary systems

  • Ensure work is performed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule

  • Monitor daily activities and resolve technical issues on site

  • Lead plumbers, pipefitters, and helpers

  • Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity

  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical (HVAC), and civil teams to avoid clashes

  • Attend coordination and progress meetings with engineers and project managers

  • Ensure smooth integration of plumbing systems with overall MEP works

  • Enforce HSE policies and safe working practices

  • Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments

  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and local regulations

  • Plan daily and weekly work activities

  • Coordinate material requests, delivery, and storage

  • Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and manpower

  • Inspect installation work to ensure quality standards

  • Maintain daily progress reports and manpower records

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma/ITI or certification in Plumbing, Mechanical, or related field

  • 6-8 years of experience in MEP or construction projects

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods

  • Ability to read drawings and plumbing layouts

  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations

  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
